Allegiant Airlines will have another option for Lehigh Valley travelers trying to get to Florida next year.

The airline announced in a news release Thursday that a new, nonstop route from Lehigh Valley International Airport to Orlando International Airport, or MCO, will launch May 16.

“While Allegiant has provided many years of strong service into the Orlando area, direct connectivity to Orlando International Airport (MCO) remained on our target list. This is exciting news for ABE,” Thomas R. Stoudt, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority’s executive director said in a news release. “We’ve consistently heard requests from Lehigh Valley air travelers regarding nonstop flights to MCO, and there’s always interest in more capacity for vacationers headed to Orlando theme parks. Now, Allegiant will help us deliver more options. When Allegiant chose ABE as their 18th crew base, we spoke about the potential for increased air service. Since the start of 2023, Allegiant has launched service to Denver and Melbourne, and they continue to demonstrate their outstanding partnership in serving this region.”

Allegiant is offering one-way fares of $59 on the route if they are booked by Friday. More information may be found on .

This new route comes right before Allegiant’s launch of routes to Melbourne Orlando International Airport, which start Friday.

The airline also added flights to Denver over the summer.
