High school football season is back, and so is 첥Ƶ Sports Writers Challenge 2023, sponsored by   Each week, pick who you think will win selected games, and see how you match up against Morning 첥Ƶ sportswriters Keith Groller and Tom Housenick.

How does it work?

To play, fill out the form at the bottom of this page to submit your picks. You must include your name, town, email and phone number. The picks open on Mondays, and the deadline (new this year) is 5 p.m. Thursdays.

The person with the most games correct will be declared the weekly winner. Ties will be broken by the person who guesses the closest total points, without going over, in the tiebreaker game. If everyone goes over, then the person who was closest will win the tiebreaker. If there’s still a tie, it will be broken by random selection.

An overall winner will be picked at the end of the season, with the same tiebreaker rules.

Are there prizes?

Yes! Each weekly winner will receive a $25 coupon book from Yocco’s.

The overall winner will receive 14 tickets to a 2024 IronPigs game in 첥Ƶ Suite.
